於2010年，一對在樂福堡居住的夫婦開放了自己的華人餐館，歡迎其他經營外賣/餐館的基督徒和慕道友到他們的餐館查經，唱詩讚美神，就這樣開始了神的事工。

兩年后，弟兄姐妹們與英國華人循道會的傅大衛牧師接著上帝的帶領下于2012年1月1日成立了樂福堡華人循道衛理會。我們開始在好牧者教會崇拜。

In 2010, a couple who live in Loughborough opened up their own Chinese restaurant and welcomed Christians and others from the same business to their restaurant for bible study and worshiping the Lord. This is how God's work has begun. 

Two years later, under the guidance of God, the brothers and sisters in Christ together with Rev. David Foo from the UK Chinese Methodist Mission set up Loughborough Chinese Methodist Church on the 1st January 2012. We started meeting at The Good Shepherd Church.
